Free Inclusion Assemblies for Primary Schools
The kindness crew is a social enterprise started by our co-founder Tori Houghton’s brother, Simon.
It’s a free primary school resource that helps pupils understand differences on the inside and encourages empathy, respect and positive behaviour towards others.
The Kindness Crew Assembly Challenge is a 15-minute, pupil-friendly assembly designed to help children understand that people can experience the world differently on the inside — and that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
Using a short animation and simple reflection prompts, the Assembly Challenge introduces children to the idea of differences on the inside (such as autism, ADHD, hearing loss or anxiety) in a way that is age-appropriate, positive and inclusive, without labels or heavy terminology.
The Assembly Challenge has been designed to be as simple and low-effort as possible:
• Free to use
• No teacher preparation required
• Delivered by the school
• KS1 and KS2 versions available
• Requires only an internet connection
The assembly is a standalone activity and does not require schools to commit to any further programmes.
