About this conference

Research Autism founding trustee Dr Lorna Wing sadly died last year. She was a pioneer in autism research and will have a long-lasting legacy. It was her belief that in looking forward we should also look back to understand the essence of autism and avoid repeating past errors. It is interesting how many of the current ideas about autism were first voiced by Lorna.

This conference, will be both a tribute to Lorna and a forward look at what the next decade is likely to hold. It will include an overview of Lorna Wing's contribution to the field provided by her colleague Dr Judith Gould.

Who should attend: commissioning teams, health, social care, and education professionals, parents/carers, and people with autism. Join our largest conference to date!
