Together Trust Launches #SeeMyPotential Campaign at Trafford Centre

Thursday, 24 Nov 2016

No Text Leading North West charity, the Together Trust launched its #SeeMyPotential Christmas appeal on 29 November 2016 to help level the playing field for some of the most disadvantaged young people, vulnerable adults and their families.

75% of people in Great Britain agree that young people and adults with disabilities generally have less opportunities in life compared to those without a disability*, the Together Trust is here to change that. The #SeeMyPotential appeal asks the public to help support and value people with complex health needs, autism and disabilities and realise their potential.

A launch event will take place at intu Trafford Centre outside Hamleys this Giving Tuesday, where there will be an activity for children and young people and an opportunity for shoppers to learn more about complex health needs, autism and disabilities.

Mark Lee, Chief Executive of the Together Trust, said: “At the Together Trust, we know that people with disabilities can achieve brilliant things when given the opportunity. We work with individuals and their families to campaign for their right to be included and equal in society.

“The Together Trust couldn’t do the amazing work that we do without your support. We desperately need vital funds to develop and continue to run our services and the essential support that we offer to families in times of need".
